Thornveld LMS processes personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. Select a condition to read the specific commitment that applies to it.

Section 8 · Condition 1

The institution stays the responsible party

Each registered college or university remains the responsible party for its learner and staff information. Thornveld LMS operates as its operator under section 20, processing only on the institution's instruction.
The institution appoints its own Information Officer and any deputies, and registers them with the Information Regulator. Their details are published inside the institution's own workspace.
Owner-level administrative actions — registering an institution, activating a coordinator, removing a record — are written to an immutable audit log that the institution can request at any time.
